When community groups, senior centers, churches, schools and other organizations need information about a legal issue, they should contact the Maryland State Bar Association’s (MSBA) Speakers’ Bureau and ask a volunteer attorney to address their group. MSBA’s Speakers’ Bureau offers over 200 volunteer attorneys who go out into the community and talk about the law. These legal experts volunteer to visit community groups and address a multitude of legal issues as a public service.

Volunteer attorneys are available to talk about such legal issues as wills, estates, nursing homes admissions, bankruptcy, zoning, health care, divorce, custody matters, criminal law or many other areas of the law. MSBA’s Speakers’ Bureau will provide an attorney speaker to the group at no cost.
