Timothy J.
Oursler has been elected partner in the law firm of Royston,
Mueller, McLean & Reid, LLP. He will continue to focus his practice on
estate planning and administration, real estate and commercial
transactions.
Douglas S. Walker
has become an associate at the law firm of Royston, Mueller, McLean &
Reid, LLP. As a member of the firm’s business department, Walker will
focus his practice in the areas of corporate, commercial, real estate and
bankruptcy law.
Sandra Gohn, a
senior partner in the Private Client Services group of the law firm of
Piper Rudnick LLP, has been elected to the board of directors of the
Leadership Program of the Greater Baltimore Committee. Gohn focuses her
practice on tax and estate planning for individuals. The year-long program
is designed to broaden the base of leaders throughout the development of
individual interest, knowledge of the community and leadership ability.
Jay Christopher

David M. Tralins
has been accepted into the 2003 Harford Leadership Academy, a Community

of Hodes, Ulman, Pessin & Katz, P.A., where he focuses his practice in the
areas of Health and Corporate Law.

Hon. John Carroll
Burns was honored as “Marylander of the Year” by the Maryland Colonial
Society for, among other things, his role in founding the Baltimore City
Historical Society last year. Burns retired from the Baltimore City
Circuit Court in 2002 after 20 years of service.
James R. Chason,
a partner with the law firm of Whiteford, Taylor & Preston L.L.P., has
been elected a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
