B’nai B’rith International has named Stuart Jay Robinson as this year’s recipient of its Commitment to Justice Award, honoring Robinson for his nearly 30 years of service as both a public defender and a private attorney.

Gordon, Feinblatt, Rothman, Hoffberger & Hollander, LLC, announces that Herbert Goldman, Managing Member, and Richard F. Lindstrom, a Member in the Tax & Estate Planning Practice Group, have been elected as Fellows of the Maryland Bar Foundation.

Arnold E. Jablon has joined Venable LLP as Of Counsel in the firm’s State and Local Government practice.

Elizabeth Frey, nurse attorney with the Washington, D.C., malpractice law firm of Jack H. Olender & Associates, was sworn in as Secretary of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association at its annual convention in Baltimore.

Steven B. Larsen has joined the law firm of Saul Ewing LLP as a partner in the Insurance practice group in the firm’s Baltimore office. Larsen had previously served as Insurance Commissioner for the Maryland Insurance Administration since 1997.

The law firm of Mulrenin, Conn & Frances announces the addition of Warren B. Duckett, III. Duckett concentrates his practice in commercial real estate development, leasing, acquisition and sales.

Jon M. Laria, a partner in the Real Estate Department of the Baltimore office of the law firm of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP, has been elected Treasurer of the Baltimore Jewish Council.
