The Board of
Governors of the Federal Reserve System has appointed Cynthia Collins Allner as director of the Baltimore Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank
of Richmond for a three-year term. Allner is a Principal with the law
firm of Miles & Stockbridge, where she focuses her practice in the area
of corporate finance.

The Legal Aid
Bureau’s Equal Justice Council (EJC) recognized Venable associate Patricia
McGowan with this year’s Young Lawyer’s Division Award for her individual
efforts in the field of pro bono work. The EJC also awarded Venable the
Trailblazer Award for the firm’s pro bono contributions over the past
year.
Deborah L. Webb has
been named a principal of the law firm of Lerch, Early & Brewer,
Chartered. Webb focuses her practice in the areas of domestic relations,
litigation and guardianship law.
