Eric N. Schloss has been elected a member of the Personal Injury Practice Group of the law firm of Gordon, Feinblatt, Rothman, Hoffberger & Hollander, LLC. Searle E. Mitnick and William D. Shaughnessy, Jr., also join Gordon Feinblatt as Members of the firm’s Real Estate Group, while Lowell G. Herman has become a Member of the Tax and Estate Planning Group.

Governor Robert L. Ehrlich has appointed Joseph C. Kovars to serve on the newly created Task Force to Study Efficiency in Procurement in Maryland.

Jerald B. Lurie has been elected as Vice President of the Board of Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service.

James P. Nolan, MSBA’s Immediate Past President, has been elected to serve on the Executive Council of the National Conference of Bar Presidents (NCBP). He is Maryland’s sole representative on the Council and also serves on NCBP’s Program Committee.
