Carrier has been named the new managing partner of Tydings &

JD, a senior analyst at Valuation Services, Inc., has successfully
completed the certification process with the National Association of
Certified Valuation Analysts to earn his designation of Accredited
Valuation Analyst.

Benoit, Jr., and Marci I. Gordon have joined the Baltimore
Office of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP, as associates.
Benoit is an associate in the Business and Finance Department and a
member of the Securities Group, and Gordon is an associate in the Real
Estate Department. John Hardwicke,
former chief administrative law judge for the State of Maryland, has been
named executive director of the National Association of Administrative Law
Judges, which will move its headquarters from Chicago to the University of
Baltimore School of Law.

to the Editorial Advisory Board of Marketing the Law Firm, a newsletter
published by Law Journal Newsletter.

office of Saul Ewing LLP, has been elected to the Board of Directors of
the Baltimore chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women. Manuelides will
serve as Membership Chair in 2004, assisting the organization in its
recruitment of professional women in the commercial real estate industry.

as Partner and Chairman of the Health Care Law Group. Kaufman will
focus his practice on the areas of health care law, employment law and

for State Courts’ Lawyers Committee, which involves prominent practicing
