MSBA Members:
Sponsor an MSBA
Associate Member Today!
The Maryland State Bar Association’s (MSBA)
Associate Membership category was developed to encourage law students, law
office assistants and law office administrators to participate in MSBA.
Most MSBA publications, Sections, departments and vendor discounts are
applicable to Associate Members.
Law students can take advantage of the
benefit of exclusive free Associate Membership in the Young Lawyers
Section (YLS). The YLS sponsors the Career Center, which includes an
electronic system that connects employers and recruiters with lawyers,
paralegals, law clerks and administrative assistants.
All MSBA Practice Sections are open for
Associate Members to join. Many offer events, activities and newsletters
which can assist students and legal professionals with expanding
professional knowledge and development.
MSBA Associate Membership requires the
sponsorship of a current MSBA member (with the exception of law students).
To request an Associate Member Application for a colleague ($50-$75 annual
fee) or student ($25 annual fee) that you know, call the MSBA Membership
Department at (410) 685-7878. Both Associate and Section Membership
applications can also be processed online at
www.msba.org/departments/membership/join.htm.
