This annual award program was created to recognize the outstanding achievements of professional women who reside or work in Maryland.

The American Health Lawyers Association has invited Ober Kaler Health Law principals Leonard C. Homer and Sanford V. Teplitzky to join its inaugural class of Health Law Fellows, a program that recognizes the contributions of the organization’s lifetime leaders.

The law firm of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP, announces the promotion of Robert A. Scott, a resident in the firm’s Baltimore office and a member of its Litigation Department, to counsel.

DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary US LLP has joined the b4students Foundation, pledging to mentor students in Baltimore City Public Schools through its mentoring program. The firm is also launching a new public interest law fellowship in conjunction with the Center for Democracy & Technology in honor of Ronald Plesser, a noted privacy law expert who died suddenly late last year.
