Melissa Lin Klemens has ascended to the bench as Administrative Law
Judge for the Government of the District of Columbia, Department of Employment
Services, Labor Standards Bureau, Office of Hearings and Adjudication, Administrative
Hearings Division.
Julie Kass, a Health Law attorney for Ober Kaler, has been recognized
among the nation's
"Outstanding Healthcare Fraud and Compliance Lawyers – 2006" by Nightingale's
Healthcare News.

Baltimore SmartCEO Magazine has produced their annual "Legal Elite" of
Maryland attorneys, of which Venable LLP has six attorneys: Michael J. Baader,

Tracy A. Bacigalupo, a partner in the Corporate and Securities Practice
of DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary US LLP, has been named to the "500 New Stars,
New Worlds" list that is produced by Lawdragon, a legal ranking and
news service that provides analysis about lawyers.
The law firm Strickler, Sachitano & Hatfield, P.A., has enjoyed a rather
poignant summer thus far with notable awards being awarded to two of their
attorneys. Omolade R. Akinbolaji won MSBA's 2006 Edward F. Shea, Jr.
