District Court of Maryland Chief Judge Ben C. Clyburn received the 2010 Leadership Award from the Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence.

The Anne Arundel County Women’s Bar Association elected Angela D. Sheehan to their Executive Committee. Sheehan practices at Gorman & Williams. 

DLA Piper added Lynn Wintriss to their Baltimore office.  Wintriss will serve as of counsel in the firm’s Trusts and Estates practice.

David B. Applefeld, a member of Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf & Hendler, LLC, was selected to serve on the branch development and relations committee of the International Dyslexia Association, as well as serve on the board of directors of the IDA’s Maryland branch.

Wagonheim Law, a Baltimore-based law firm, hired Robert (Bob) Porter in the firm’s real estate and development practice.

Michelle Noorani joined Whiteford, Taylor & Preston LLP as counsel in the Products Liability & Environmental Exposure section.

Shelly Martin joined the  Maryland Attorney General office as an Assistant Attorney General in the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.
