Referring to LAP
If you are concerned about another lawyer, you can make a confidential or anonymous referral by calling or emailing the LAP. (See ad, at right, for contact information.) LAP will then send a letter to the individual that they have been referred. Due to confidentiality, and without a release of information, we are unable to let the referring individual know if the person has or has not used the program.
12 Step Support Meeting
This is an open 12 Step professional support meeting for both AA and NA. It is held every Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Maryland Bar Center, 520 West Fayette Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. You do not need to sign in at the front desk. Parking vouchers are available for the Pearl Street parking garage.
Federal and state law ensures the confidentiality of those who seek assistance through our program or those who have been referred to the LAP. In addition Rule 8.3 in The Maryland Lawyers’ Rules of Professional Conduct and Attorney Trust Accounts protects the confidentiality of lawyers using the program.
