Craig D. Roswell, Chairman of the Litigation Department at Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP, was appointed by the Maryland Governor’s office to serve on the government task force established to study insurance of last resort programs in the state.

Roger Fairfax, Jr., was promoted to full Professor of Law at the George Washington University Law School, where his research and teaching focus on criminal procedure, grand jury and white collar investigations, and criminal law policy.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation named Andrew Robinson, an attorney at Carney, Kelehan, Bresler, Bennett and Scherr, as one of “Howard County’s Finest Under 39”. The honor recognizes young professionals for their success in business, leadership in the community, and fundraising commitment to the foundation.

McMillan Metro, P.C., added John C. Fredrickson and Tracie L. Clabaugh to the firm. Fredrickson is a partner in the litigation practice, and Clabaugh is an associate with the real estate department.

Amanda Wargo joined Andalman & Flynn, P.C., as an associate. Wargo practices in family law.

John R. Greene was named an Angel in Adoption for his advocacy of adoption. The Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute (CCAI) honored Greene for his work helping families realize their dreams of parenting through adoption.

M&A Deal Strategies, co-authored by Adam S. Zarren, a partner at Saul Ewing, LLP, was published by Aspatore Books, a Thomson Reuters business, as part of its Inside the Minds series. M&A Deal Strategies explores some of the current economic and tax issues affecting mergers and acquisitions.
