The Maryland Bar Journal is the Maryland State Bar Association's showcase publication. It is a four-color magazine, averaging about 64 pages per issue and is published on a bi-monthly basis. Each issue is devoted to a legal theme and this theme is carried through the magazine by the editorial content, the graphics, the photography and the cover. The Journal keeps members abreast of legal trends, informed about updates and changes in the law and educated with respect to substantive areas of the law. Most issues contain seven to eight feature stories addressing various aspects of the theme. Other articles of general legal interest are also included in each issue for balance. The Journal is designed in an attractive, easy -to- read - format, and is written by volunteer attorneys and carries professional advertising. The Maryland Bar Journal welcomes articles on topics of interest to Maryland attorneys. All manuscripts must be original work, submitted for approval by the Special Committee on Editorial Advisory, and must conform to the Journal style guidelines, which are available from the MSBA headquarters. The Special Committee reserves the right to reject any manuscript submitted for publication.
