Admitted less than 5 years to any Bar are $75.00.
Attorneys admitted to any Bar five years or
longer $125.00.

How do I change my membership
from inactive to active?
You need to submit in writing a
letter that indicating that you wish to become active. You
need to send that letter to the Client Protection Fund, Janet Moss,
Robert F. Sweeney District Court Building, 251 Rowe Blvd.,
Annapolis, MD 21401, 410-260-1950. You will also need to pay
the fee for this fiscal year.
If you then wish to re-join the
MSBA, you may re-join using our
website.

Does changing my address with the MSBA automatically update my
address information with the Client
Protection Fund?
No. You must notify the Client
Protection Fund separately in writing. Their

Manual?
Your mailing address will be listed in the Blue Section Member
Listing of the Manual unless you specify differently with the online
directory under lawyers manual. Most mailing addresses are the
business office addresses. Members are responsible for choosing their
primary address.

Individual members’ address information must be sent in
writing by August 31 of the current fiscal year.
