Annual Meeting & Exhibit Show
Each June the MSBA provides educational programs, social gatherings, our
annual business meeting, and an opportunity to see the latest services
available to Maryland attorneys. This year's meeting is tentatively
scheduled for June 14 - 17, 2006 in Ocean City, MD.

Lawyers' Manual*
Often called the attorneys' "Bible," the Maryland Lawyers'
Manual is free to MSBA members and is updated annually. The Manual
provides information about federal, state and local agencies in Maryland,
legal services and law firms in the state, and a complete listing of MSBA
members.
*Associate Members are eligible to purchase at
the member price and be listed in the Manual.
Legal Brochures
The Maryland State Bar Association offers a series of twenty four easy-to-read guides designed to keep your clients informed about common
legal problems. At 15 cents per copy, you cannot afford to be without the
entire series. One complimentary copy is available for your examination.
Also available is a 6-compartment holder which you can use to turn your
reception area into an information center for your clients. The brochure
holder fits neatly on any desk or table top. (Please visit

Mentor
Program
The Maryland State Bar Association sponsors a pro bono Mentor Program
to assist newer, less experienced members of the bar. This is a members
only site. Lawyers from all over the state in a variety of practice areas
have volunteered to answer questions. For more details go to

Sections Memberships
The twenty-two MSBA Sections can keep you informed of legislative issues
and new developments in your field. In addition to networking and
mentoring opportunities, Sections offer timely publications, services, and
most importantly, a collective voice to improve the practice of law for
you and your clients. Our Sections have been instrumental in bringing
about many improvements in our legal system.
Solo and Small Firm Conference
The Maryland State Bar Association holds its annual Solo and
Small Firm Conference first Saturday in November. The program focuses on
various law office management, financial, personnel, marketing and
technology issues for solo and small firm practitioners throughout the
state. In addition, there are a variety of vendors who provide services
for solo and small firm practitioners in attendance. Please contact Patricia Yevics to be a vendor or to
offer suggestions on topics.
