A Cyber Resilience plan should be an essential part of any law firm’s Business Continuity program. Realistically, many law firms currently still do not have written Business Continuity or Cyber Resilience plans in place. Considering that lawyers have a professional responsibility to protect firm and client data, law firm Cyber Resilience plans should document what specific technology is being used in the firm and the steps being used to Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond and Recover from any cyber threat that the law firm may face. This session will focus on the essential elements of a comprehensive Business Continuity plan and more specifically, provide guidance for putting together a Cyber Resilience plan that will comply with client and insurance requirements and help ensure the firm’s resilient reputation.
