ABWA (Saturday) Community Service Event

Please join the Alliance of Black Women Attorneys for a non legal community service opportunity where we as African American attorneys can give back in some small way to the community.

Members are needed to volunteer for Rebuilding Together Baltimore's April 26th Rebuilding Day.

Our team of volunteers will be helping the PenLucy Neighborhood in Baltimore City in beautifying their neighborhood on April 26 at 9:00am (reporting time). We will meet at 505 East 42nd Street, Baltimore, MD aka Safe Christian Fellowship...they will provide t-shirts, gardening tools and lunch, if people have small hand tools they should bring them.

More details will be provided shortly in regard to what to wear etc. and directions closer to the date.

Maryland Lawyers for the Arts and the Alliance of Black Women Attorneys join the Baltimore Festival of Maps with a special preview party for “Exploratory Searchery” at An Die Musik, 409 North Charles, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The exhibition features map-related paintings by artist Daniel Stuelpnagel, shown along side antique map prints by cartographer Ferdinand von Stuelpnagel, a distant relative of the present-day artist.

Artist’s talk at 8:00 pm.
