Bono Resource Center of Maryland
(Formerly the Pro Bono Action Center)
The People's Pro Bono Action Center was established in in 1990 by the Maryland
State Bar Association, the Maryland Legal Services Corporation, the Maryland
Bar Foundation and the Court of Appeals of Maryland.
Its mission is to ensure equal access to justice to Maryland's
poor through volunteer legal services. This mission is accomplished by matching
volunteer attorneys with legal services organizations dedicated to serving
the unrepresented.
