2010/2011 ANNUAL REPORT:

This Committee undertook several projects, including:
1) sending out approximately 7,500 invitations in a targeted effort to reach out to non-members to join or rejoin the MSBA;
2) finalizing a chart for Association members regarding the various Maryland Courts’ acceptance of the MSBA bar card, which will include the necessary steps to obtain a bar card and, if a bar card is not accepted, what identifi cation is required by each courthouse;
3) creating a program to reach out to local bar associations;
4) hosting a reception at the Annual Meeting for fi rst-time attendees and promoting a fi rst-time attendee program; and
5) exploring the creation of law school chapters of the MSBA.
