ABA Bar Leadership Institute (BLI) scholarships
This program is an excellent opportunity for bar association vice presidents
and president-elects. One of the goals of the scholarship program is to
increase participation among bar leaders from smaller associations
(including local, women’s and diversity bars) that traditionally
are not able to attend. Many of these bar leaders go on to become officers
and board members at state and major local bar associations.
The scholarship consists of a registration waiver (value up to $635)
and a $500 reimbursement of meeting and travel expenses. The scholarship
application and guidelines are available on the BLI website
Scholarship applications must be received by December 31, 2008.
