To enhance the public’s understanding of the law, the Maryland State
Bar Association (MSBA) is unveiling a unique YouTube Video Competition – “Law
in Your Daily Life,” and is inviting all Marylanders to enter a short
video for a chance to win a cash prize. Through this competition, MSBA wants
to reach out to the public and help people better understand the justice system
and their role in it. So, MSBA’s Public Awareness Committee is
launching the YouTube Video Competition, complete with cash prizes and
wants imaginative videos depicting how the law affects people’s lives.
Video categories and prizes:
Under 18 winner or group

18 and Older
Prize 1: $500

The Prize 1 winners from the Under 18 and 18 and Older categories
will receive accommodations for the awards presentation at MSBA's Annual Conference
in Ocean City, Maryland.
Instructions: Create a three-minute-or-less video (but may not be less than
a minute) that captures how the law affects you every day. Be creative. This
must be your idea. It must be your own product.
