PURPOSE: |

The Purpose of the Business Law Section is to promote the objects of the Maryland State Bar Association within the field of corporation, banking and business law to bring together members of the Association have a special interest in that field and to further the study, development, and improvement of the law applicable thereto.
The Section sponsors programs throughout the year covering topics of general interest to corporation, banking and business lawyers. The Section also cooperates with the Maryland Institute for the Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers ("MICPEL") in the planning and presentation of substantive continuing legal education programs.
