2012/2013 ANNUAL REPORT:

This Section worked to overhaul certain Local Rules used in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland, modifying about 20 Local Rules in an effort to make the Bankruptcy practice more efficient and easier to manage, which it plans to submit to the Bankruptcy Bench soon.

MSBA Consumer Bankruptcy Section Mentor Program

The Consumer Bankruptcy Section has created a program to improve the practice of Consumer Bankruptcy Law by having experienced practitioners available to mentor new members of the section. Mentors are available to supplement the wide range of resources provided by the section and to provide general guidance and advice.
