This Section held educational programs for its membership
and law students on topics including “The Meaningful
Use Regulations: How to Access the Available Incentive
Payments,” presented by Elizabeth Holland of the Centers
for Medicare & Medicaid Services; “Health Care Reform:
Key Provisions Affecting Health Care Providers and What to
Expect in 2011 (and Beyond),” presented by Donald Romano,
Esq., Celia Landgren, Esq., Katheryn Calvert, Esq., and
Christi Braun, Esq.; and “What’s Old is New Again: Changes
in Maryland Administrative and Case Law that May Affect
Your Practice,” presented by Sigrid Haines and Marc Cohen.
It presented a legislative roundup summarizing health care
legislation passed in this year’s General Assembly session
in the spring. |
