Health Law Mentor Program

The Maryland State Bar Association Courthouse Identification Badge is available to any attorney who has been admitted to practice law in this state, who is currently a member of the bar in good standing, and who is currently certified by the Court of Appeals as an active practitioner.

Mentoring Program

The MSBA sponsors this program to assist newer, less experienced members of the bar. It provides a resource for attorneys to seek and receive advice or discuss concern about law office management, escrow accounts, procedural issues and many other topics.

Issues, Matters Most Often Handled:
Heading the in house legal dept for UnitedHealth Groups' $1.5B Dental and Vision insurance businesses. Multitude of state and Federal legal and regulatory issues, drafting/negotiating contracts with clients/vendors, large provider practice groups, and affiliates. Also, I provide business risk advice and corporate governance support.

I agree to mentor 1 law student.
I agree to host 1-2 law student(s) for a shadow day.
