The answer(s) are "Yes" and "Yes."
Let's assume that I am working on a contract between Jones
and Smith. I save the first draft as something like "contract_sale_dr1.wpd."
I then put it in pdf format and save it as
"contract_sale_dr1.pdf." I then send it out to my client, Jones,
for his comments. I incorporate those comments in a second draft titled
"contract_sale_dr2.wpd." Assuming that I don't have to have
my client review it further, I then pdf the document, saving it as "contract_sale_dr2.pdf" and
send it to Smith's counsel. After some back and forth with counsel, I
produce another draft "contract_sale_dr3.wpd/pdf (as the case may be)" and
forward it to my client.
At each step, I have stripped out the metadate except, perhaps,
for the metadata in pdf that indicates that I am the author.
Also, I put footers or headers on each document that tells
me what version of the document one is looking at. This is accomplished
in WordPerfect with a couple of macros that I had created for that purpose.
Yes, I believe that it is, but I will experiment with the
procedure this evening to make certain.

How do you strip out the metadata from a wordperfect file?
Is just saving every revision as a separate file sufficient?
