The Section of Taxation of The Maryland State Bar
Association, Inc. (MSBA) is holding its Annual Shulbank Dinner on Tuesday,
May 16, 2000, in Columbia, at The Sheraton Columbia Hotel. The Honorable
Benjamin L. Cardin will be speaking on tax legislation matters. Cocktail
hour is at 6:30 p.m., with seating for dinner beginning at 7:15 p.m.
Entrée choices are Chicken Breast Pan Seared with Lemon Caper Sauce and

Panel to Discuss MDP's At Annual Meeting
The podium at the annual meeting in Ocean City this
year will be shared by the Sections of Taxation; Business; Law Practice
Management; and Real Property, Planning and Zoning; in presenting a panel
discussion of MDP’s (multidisciplinary practices). The program will be
held at 1:45 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 2000, at the Sheraton Hotel as part
of the MSBA Annual Meeting. The distinguished panel will examine the pros
and cons of practicing law in multidisciplinary practice groups. It will
feature representation by the MSBA Task Force on Multidisciplinary
Practice, the American Bar Association, the MSBA Ethics Committee, and the
Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. Please plan to
attend.
