The Annual Irving Shulbank Memorial Dinner

On May 14, 2002, the Taxation Section hosted its Annual Irving Shulbank Memorial Dinner and Program at the Center Club in Baltimore, Maryland. The evening began with cocktails and provided those in attendance with an opportunity to catch up with old colleagues and to meet new ones. Cocktails were followed by a delicious dinner prepared by the Center Club’s world-class chef.

Following dinner, the formal program began with Zelig Robinson of Gordon, Feinblatt, Rothman, Hoffberger & Hollander sharing his remembrances of Irving Shulbank. Robin Denick, the chair of the Taxation Section then presented this year’s Tax Excellence Award to the Honorable L. Paige Marvel of the United States Tax Court. The evening culminated with the Honorable Nancy K. Kopp, Maryland State Treasurer speaking about her duties as Maryland State Treasurer and her experiences during her brief tenure.
