The MSBA Litigation Section works to elevate the level of trial and appellate practice in State and Federal courts serving Maryland and increase the professionalism of the general litigation attorney; provides a forum for exchanging ideas among Section members and the Association, as well as between the Section and other groups in matters of interest to litigators; considers issues with respect to rules, procedures, and practices of litigation, and presents recommendations on those issues; develops relevant materials and seminars for continuing legal education; establishes and maintains regular contact with the State and Federal judiciary to achieve resolution of problems of mutual concern; and generally promotes and furthers the interests of the profession within the field of litigation.
