Online Discussion Platform Upgrade

MSBA is now offering your committee access to MSBA Connect, our new online discussion community exclusively for members. This new tool will replace the current Email Discussion Lists (more commonly referred to as the MSBA’s ListServs) as we modernize our online presence. MSBA Connect will provide members with a more functional and reliable means of connecting with each other well into the future.

2019-2020 Annual Report:

This Committee hosted the Annual Conference of Bar Presidents October 25-26, 2019 in Cambridge, Maryland where the gathering of local and specialty bar leaders from across Maryland met for plenary sessions and networking opportunities, including a panel discussion on how to run an effective board meeting and a breakout session on workshopping your why; the Conference also concurrently hosted the monthly Board of Governors meeting and the Young Lawyers Summit.The Committee also explored ways to engage the incoming chairs and presidents of the local and specialty bar associations throughout the bar year to strengthen partnerships amongst the associations.
