The MSBA State & Local Government Law Section provides a common ground and impartial forum for MSBA members engaged in dealing with the challenges of state and local government in any capacity to promote a better understanding of the law relating to municipal corporations and other public bodies through educational programs, meetings, and studying, surveying, analyzing, and disseminating current information concerning legislation and judicial decisions; formulating and submitting to Section and Association members reports and recommendations deemed useful to the profession and advisable in the public interest; and furthering the public interest as the prime factor in the development of state and local government.
