To help practitioners stay abreast of recent developments that may impact criminal matters, MSBA is offering a Criminal Law Update, on March 17, 2022 at 9:00 a.m., as Day 4 of MSBA Legal Excellence Week!

Seasoned criminal law attorney Nancy Forster will lead a review of new case law from the Maryland Court of Appeals, the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Additionally, there will be a special hot topic session: Voir Dire Questions: When and How They Must Be Asked.

VA, PA, and DE offer 3.0 hours of CLE credit for the program, and the National Federation of Paralegal Associations Inc. offers 3.0 general credits.

MSBA is committed to protecting the health and safety of its faculty, staff, attendees, sponsors, and community. As such, in light of the recent increase of COVID cases in Maryland and nearby states, the MSBA made the difficult decision to hold Legal Excellence Week and all related programs 100% virtually.

The MSBA Learn App allows you to safely access the Criminal Law Update and all of the sessions from Legal Excellence Week from any location. Use the app to partake part in polls and chat and connect with presenters, sponsors, and attendees.

Join a single session or purchase a weekly pass that provides access to up to 40 CLE credits in over 55 hours of substantive learning in addition to interactive sessions.  All of the content from Legal Excellence Week will be available for up to 90 days after the event as wel!
