A Multi-Disciplinary Approach to Your Family Law Practice

Description

Family law practitioners are often faced with a scenario where the client sitting across the desk presents with issues that are beyond the scope of family law.  They may have a house entering foreclosure, or an uncertain immigration status.  They may be so far in debt that bankruptcy is imminent, or their spouse is in trouble with the IRS related to a joint tax filing.  Family law attorneys need to be equipped to spot potential issues, even outside of our practice area, and if we do not know the answers, direct our clients to someone who does.  The 2020 Family Law Hot Tips program pairs experienced family law attorneys, with attorneys experienced in the areas of Bankruptcy, Elder Law, Real Property, Tax, and Immigration to discuss issues from these areas of law that are likely to present to a family law attorney.
