Join the MSBA for the 2021 Legal Summit Series: Representing Commercial Watermen in Criminal and Administrative Proceedings on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 1 p.m.!
This program will discuss the ins and outs of defending commercial watermen who face Natural Resources Police prosecutions or administrative sanctions against their Tidal Fish License. Learn how draconian administrative sanctions under relatively new anti-poaching laws pose traps for the unwary. The presenters will highlight the successful use of GPS data to defend cases in the district and circuit courts.
Presented by John K. Phoebus, Esq. of Anthenelli, Phoebus & Hickman, LLC and Russell E. Dashiell, Jr., Esq.
One hour of CLE credit will be offered to the surrounding MCLE states. If you miss the livestream, it will be available on the MSBA CLE catalog.
Participants will now be able to use the chat box and pose questions to the faculty during the presentation. As our live streams will use Zoom, you will have the same video and audio functions. Please keep your phone or computer muted unless you’re speaking. You may wish to turn off your video camera to allow the attendees to focus on the presenters. Use the chat box to ask questions and include which faculty member you’d like to address the question.
