Agriculture Law Section Legislative Update
Description
The 2021 session of the Maryland General Assembly is over. Bill signing has occurred.
Speaker: Thomas F. Filbert, Esquire, Office of the Attorney General, Principal Counsel to the Maryland Department of Agriculture
This program will examine the session’s impact on agriculture, reviewing legislation that:
(1) Establishes new programs placed with the Maryland Department of Agriculture; and
(2) Amends existing programs that the Department administers.
The Program will also examine other agriculturally-related bills — those that passed this session and some noteworthy bills that failed.
