On May 5, 2022, the Maryland State Bar Association will host a dinner gala at the College Park Marriott to celebrate the notable achievements and retirement of Chief Judge Barbera. The event includes an outdoor cocktail hour, dinner and presentations in a ventilated ballroom, and outdoor dessert bar. In addition to the September dinner gala, we will honor the Chief in a variety of ways, including a profile in an upcoming Maryland Bar Journal, articles, awards, website, tribute book, and video.

To help cover the cost of the celebrations, please consider sponsoring the celebrations through one of our sponsorship tiers below. Funds would cover a variety of expenses associated with the event including an offset for ticket pricing for courthouse staff, public interest and government attorneys, and paralegals, event costs for the gala, marketing, print materials, video production, gifts, and staff support. Any sponsorship funds remaining after the cost of the celebration will be donated to a law-related charitable organization.
