Join the MSBA Environment and Energy Law Section for a training on Maryland EJ SCREEN; from the University of Maryland Center for Community, Engagement, Environmental Justice and Health. The Maryland Environmental Justice Screen Tool (MD EJSCREEN) was developed in 2017 to allow users to explore layers of environmental justice concern, determine the overall ‘EJ Score’ for census tracts in the state, and view additional context layers relevant to their area of concern or story they would like to tell. At the end, we will hear briefly from Chesapeake Legal Alliance about pro bono opportunities in Maryland that benefit the environment and environmental justice communities in Maryland.
