This year’s program will focus on substantial issues involving community association claims including an update on dischargeability issues, revesting and surrendering assets through the Chapter 13 plan, plan treatment of association claims, lien avoidance of association liens, lien recordation issues, a discussion of the recent Court of Appeals decision in In re Walker (March 30, 2021), and new for this year, an examination of the treatment of timeshare and similar related interests.
