Criminal Law Update

Join the MSBA on Day 2 of the MSBA Legal Excellence Week as it presents an all new and expanded, Criminal Law Update on November 14, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.

Experienced faculty Nancy Forster will provide the always popular caselaw update, while Rick Finci will provide an overview of sentencing guidelines and strategies, as well as a look at forfeiture law and procedures. Lydia Lawless and Lou Malik will provide an hour of ethics credits, discussing Rule 3.8 and Brady issues, and the program will conclude with A View from the Bench & Best Practices from a Circuit and District Court Judge’s panel.  Scroll down for the full agenda and details. Wrap up a great day of learning with a networking reception with faculty and colleagues.

Five hours of CLE credit will be offered for the surrounding MCLE states. If you’re unable to attend the live in-person event in November, the entire event will be recorded and available to you to view later. You can pre-purchase the OnDemand HERE.
