Elder Law & Disability Rights Section Study Group Webinar

Description

Since the start of the Public Health Emergency (PHE) two years ago, the Medicaid eligibility rules have been relaxed and recipients were not going through the normal scrutiny and verification requirements that the Department was following pre-Covid.  PHE protections may lift as early as August 1, 2022 and the Kaiser Family Foundation is predicting that as many as 15 million people are going to lose their Medicaid Coverage.  Thursday’s lunch and learn will be a discussion on how the “return to normal” may affect current Medicaid beneficiaries and what, if anything, we as practitioners should be doing for our clients.
