Kandace L. Scherr is managing partner of the firm Frank, Frank & Scherr which provides Elder Law, Estate, and Special Needs planning services to people throughout Maryland. She serves as Chair of the Elder Law and Disability Rights Section Council of the Maryland State Bar Association. Her firm has successfully adopted a hybrid model using both a shared office space and work from home environment.

Shannon Hammond, Esq., is the founding member of Hammond Law in Sykesville, Maryland. Prior to starting her solo/small firm practice, Shannon was an elder law associate at Frank, Frank & Scherr (2009-2013) and an estate planning associate at Joseph, Greenwald & Laake (2006-2009). Shannon also currently serves as the Board President of YES!, Inc., which is a new, local non-profit organization, dedicated to providing much-needed education and support to caregivers for those with young-onset dementia.
