The MSBA Estate & Trust Law Section Study Group is a forum for attorneys to discuss and review case law, professional news, issues, and updates related to estate and trust law practice. We host experts in the field to present new findings and answer your questions at every meeting. The Study Group meets on a monthly basis in Baltimore and Bethesda, and is open to MSBA members as well as non-members.
The speakers will present live in the Bethesda location, and be lived-streamed to the Baltimore location.

George Karibjanian, Esq. will present Alimony, Prenuptial Agreements, and Trusts Under the 2017 Tax Act.
George D. Karibjanian is a member of Franklin Karibjanian & Law. George is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Wills, Trusts & Estates and is a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. George practices exclusively in the areas of estate planning and probate and trust administration, and has also represented numerous clients with respect to nuptial agreements.
George’s recent lectures have focused on the estate planning implications of the new Uniform Voidable Transactions Act, which have included presentations in Las Vegas, San Diego, throughout Florida and at the 42nd Annual Notre Dame Tax & Estate Planning Institute in October 2016 in South Bend, Indiana. George has also conducted webinars on this topic for practitioners in both Alaska and South Dakota.
On the topic of same-sex estate planning, George has lectured at various conferences and estate planning councils throughout the United States and has published numerous articles in publications such as Steve Leimberg’s LISI Estate Planning Newsletters, Estate Planning Journal, Trusts & Estates Magazine and the Florida Bar Journal. George has also been quoted by several publications and websites.
