Hot Tips in Family Law

Description

Join the MSBA Family Law Section during Day 3 of MSBA Legal Excellence Week, for its newest presentation of their annual signature event, Hot Tips in Family Law on November 15, 2023 at 9 am.

“Hot Tips…” will give an in-depth review of some of the most urgent topics facing Maryland family law attorneys. Experienced faculty will cover what the new legal recreational cannabis law means for your child custody case; what to do if faced with a client’s incapacity or death; tax implications for divorcing clients facing bankruptcy, appellate brief and memo writing for divorce matters, and more! Scroll down to see the entire agenda and faculty.  Enjoy meeting colleagues and legal services vendors throughout the day, and closing out a great day of learning with a networking reception.

If you’re interested in any other programs taking place during Legal Excellence Week, there’s a discount available for registering for more than one program. You can find more details about additional LEW programming here.

Five hours of CLE credit will be offered for the surrounding MCLE states. If you’re unable to attend the live in-person event in November, the entire event will be recorded and available to you to view later. You can pre-purchase the OnDemand HERE.
