Litigating Constructive Civil Contempt Cases in the Post-Breona C. World

Description

In Breona C v. Rodney D, the Court of Special Appeals upended the manner in which constructive-civil-contempt cases are handled in Maryland. Hear from the attorneys who litigated Breona C, as well as several other contempt appeals, as they explain how contempt can and can’t be used in child-custody and access cases. Alternative methods of enforcement of custody cases will also be discussed.

Presented by Paul Griffin, Esq., Nathaniel Grube, Esq., David Dorey, Esq., of Child Justice, Inc.

This presentation is FREE for MSBA Members as part of the Virtual Learning Pass membership benefit!

One hour of CLE credit will be offered to the surrounding MCLE states of Pennsylvania, Virginia and Delaware.
