Maximizing Mediation: Effective Strategies to Get the Most Out of Settlement Conferences

Description

This is a refresher on the psychology of settlement and the mistakes we might make in timing such conferences (too soon, or too late), and fostering an attitude of resolution throughout the legal process.

PRESENTER:

Claude E. Ducloux has been licensed in Texas since 1977, and has also been licensed in California and Colorado. In 2011, he won the highest statewide award from the State Bar of Texas for lifetime contribution to CLE (the “Gene Cavin Award”), and has spoken in more than 600 programs in all 50 states since Jan 1, 2010, where attendees regularly rate his presentations very highly. Mr. Ducloux has a long legacy of bar service, including being President of the Austin Bar Association, and serving as Chair of almost every major Bar-related entity, as well as the Texas Bar Foundation.
