The pandemic has not only changed the way we work as practitioners, but the way we work with our teams and support staff. Whether you’re ready for that or not, the art of remote team management is becoming more essential than ever to the success of law firms, big and small.
In order for any team to survive and thrive, there must be a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and respect. As the manager of a remote team, developing and promoting this type of culture is an especially important task. When coworkers aren’t physically in the same place, there are fewer opportunities to foster interpersonal interaction and connection, so it’s important to be proactive and creative when building company culture.
This presentation will cover the art of remote team management through intention, planning and mindfulness; the technology components that can help any remote team stay organized, in-touch and producing quality work; and long-term/sustainability goals…guiding teams through work-life balance to avoid burnout and terminations.
