Join the MSBA Labor & Employment Law Section for a new virtual presentation of NLRB Update on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 10 a.m. 

The program will update participants on two recent major developments involving the National Labor Relations Board.  The first would be the Board’s decision in Cemex Construction Materials Pacific, LLC, in which the Board announced a new framework for situations when a union requests recognition from an employer on the basis that a majority of employees in an appropriate bargaining unit have designated the union as their representative.  The second would be the Board’s new rules amending its procedures governing representation elections, which are slated to become effective December 26, 2023.
