Representing Commercial Watermen in Criminal and Administrative Proceedings

Description

This program will discuss the ins and outs of defending commercial watermen who face Natural Resources Police prosecutions or administrative sanctions against their Tidal Fish License. Learn how draconian administrative sanctions under relatively new anti-poaching laws pose traps for the unwary. The presenters will highlight the successful use of GPS data to defend cases in the district and circuit courts.

Presented by John K. Phoebus, Esq. of Anthenelli, Phoebus & Hickman, LLC and Russell E. Dashiell, Jr., Esq.

One hour of CLE credit will be offered to the surrounding MCLE states. If you miss the livestream, it will be available on the MSBA CLE catalog.
