Upgrade Your Client Intake: Ten Simple Steps to Make Life Easier

Join the MSBA for the Upgrade Your Client Intake: Ten Simple Steps to Make Life Easier on Tuesday, July 19th at 10 am!

The client intake process is arguably the most critical part of law firm management. This is how you get clients. This is how you procure retainers and generate cash flow for the firm. The initial client consultation sets the tone for the entire case, so you need to make sure you start off on the right foot, every time.

This session will take you through the entire client intake process, from initial conflict checks to the signing of the fee agreements, and will give you tips to make it easier on the firm (and the client). This includes access to templates and forms that you can start using immediately in your office. If your goal is to streamline your processes, get more money coming into the firm, and improve client perception of your office, then this session is for you.

Join attorney Jordan Turk as she takes you through the most efficient intake procedures and gives you some first-hand stories about her intake trials and tribulations. All it takes is ten steps to upgrade your intake process and make your life easier.

Jordan Turk is a practicing attorney in Texas, and is also the Law Practice Advisor at LawPay. Her family law expertise includes appeals, pre and postnuptial agreements, as well as complex property division and highly contentious custody cases. In addition, Jordan has given CLEs across the country about online payments and trust account compliance. Jordan graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Classics, History, and Religious Studies. She subsequently spent a year working for LawPay in Austin, then went on to attend the University of Arkansas School of Law to earn her J.D. After almost four years of practice with a high-asset family law firm in Houston, Jordan returned to LawPay. Jordan has authored and co-authored many articles that you can find in the Texas Bar Journal and around the internet. Passionate about giving back to her community, Jordan makes a point of taking pro bono cases whenever possible. In 2019, she was honored to be the recipient of the Harris County Bench Bar Pro Bono Award for Outstanding Service by an Individual.

This program is sponsored by LawPay.
