The University of Maryland is hosting its first undergraduate Regional Competition for the American Moot Court Association.  The Terp Regional Challenge will be held November 10th and 11th at the University of Maryland, College Park. This year’s Moot Court problem based on the US Supreme Court’s 2021 Dobbs decision.

Judges are needed! UMD is looking for judges for Friday, November 10th, for the 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm slots. Alternatively, for those who are unsure whether they can definitely commit,  a backup bench is needed for both Friday and Saturday. All judges will be provided with the bench memo before the Competition. The weekend promises to be fun and interesting. Thirty-two teams are competing, two coming from as far away as Ohio and California. Four UMD teams that have been working hard all semester to compete. This is the first Regional Challenge hosted by UMD. Please support Maryland in hosting this important student event.
